Over the last 12 weeks, you all have tracked my journey of starting and maintaining a blog about what I’m passionate about which is the well-being of college athletes, more specifically baseball players. With every message I have written, there is a message that I have (hopefully) shared. I think that I will continue to blog and journal but keep it more personal and try to change topics and be brutally honest with myself, so I will not be continuing this blog. With all that being said, there is one last message I have; always give thanks.
First, I would like to thank you all who have followed, liked or even looked at my blog. This hasn’t been very easy for me and I would like to thank you all for sharing this journey with me. I think that giving thanks is one of the most important things that a person can do because it shows that you care. You can have all the love in the world for someone and be the most gracious they are there for you and with you, but if you don’t share with them and tell them how you feel they might not ever know. Which brings me to my second thank you, and this one goes out to all the Radford Baseball alumni/players who I played with. You guys have made it extremely fun and enjoyable and you guys mean the world to me. I know it gets hard sometimes being with your teammates 24/7 but it really is a special time. Even though they might get under your sin from time to time, always tell them how grateful you are for them. Lastly, as I wrap up my final blog post I want to give a quick shout out to my family. They have done anything and everything in their power to give me the best opportunity to succeed and I am forever grateful for thank.
I hope you guys have enjoyed getting to know me and learning about why I do the things I do, and if there is a lesson you can find in anything that I’ve written I hope it helps. If anyone needs anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. Catch you on the flip side.
